We welcome rebels from all walks of life to come together, clip in and be exactly who they want to be. Set in a dark, candlelit room, instructors challenge and empower riders of all skill levels through rhythm-based spin and movements. It’s here that we ride, sweat, let go and overcome. We curate an experience that is judgement-free, purposeful and powerful.
Read below for everything you need to know for your first class with us:
Before You Arrive
You did it. You booked your first Rebel class! To get the most out of your class, let’s get you prepared:
- Classes take place in a hot room, so be prepared to SWEAT! So it’s important you start hydrating throughout the day before class.
- You’re going to MOVE. A lot. It’s always a good idea to eat a light, healthy snack (think a banana or a couple apple slices) before class to keep your energy in a good place during class.
- Don’t have “clip-in” shoes? Don’t stress. We have shoes you can rent for $5.
- Avoid wearing clothes that are too loose. We recommend a pair of leggings (or shorts for men), and a tank top (or sports bra if you prefer).
- We provide a fresh towel on your bike for use during class, and a refreshing cold towel for after class.

- When you arrive, check in at the front desk and let them know this is your first class.
- We’ll bring you up to speed on how to check in, and give you a tour around the studio.
- From there, we’ll show you to your selected bike and help you properly set up the seat, bars and pedals for your body type.
- Be sure to use the restroom or fill up your water at our refillable water station if needed.
- Shit just got real. REAL FUN. Settle into your bike, spin the pedals slowly to warm up and wait for your instructor.
- The doors will close, the lights will dim and the music will start.
- Every class is a little different, but every class is adaptable to your fitness level. Our classes take place in a warm, intimate candlelit room. All classes are rhythm-based; meaning we ride and move to the beat. There are no monitors or numbers at Rebel. There is no competition. So listen to your body throughout the ride, and adjust the resistance on your bike accordingly.
- There will be A LOT of good energy flowing in class, and it will get warm. When you show up for class, do not expect a cold room. We’re here to work, and want to make sure you come prepared. As the room starts to move and work, things start to heat up naturally. If you find yourself feeling too hot, slow it down and take a breath until you’re ready to jump back in. Be patient with yourself.
